IPAC is an excellent network for the newest generation of public servants in every order of government. This generation knows that collaboration, sustainability, open source, and entrepreneurship play an active role in shaping public service.

In addition to all the benefits of membership, IPAC offers new professionals a LinkedIn group, the National Incite Committee, and an online community.

IPAC-NWT Mentorship Program

The Mentorship Program has been developed in the context of public administration in the Northwest Territories, and seeks to build on understanding of diverse government structures from both the mentor and associate angle. The goal is to foster a mutually-beneficial relationship that will grow the professional skill sets of both participants.

IPAC-NWT believes that new public administrators have much to offer and hold unique insights into the public service, and that many of the challenges faced can be overcome with the support of a more seasoned professional.

If you are an IPAC member in good standing and you are interested in joining the mentorship program, please select the appropriate link below to complete a short survey. The Mentorship Program Administrator will contact you once a match has been found.
Our mentorship roster includes highly accomplished public administrators at various levels of government, including Federal, Territorial, Aboriginal and Community managers, directors, assistant deputy ministers, deputy ministers, regional directors general, and senior administrative officers.

With a skills-based approach to mentorship matching, the IPAC-NWT Mentorship Program can provide professional development opportunities in a wide range of areas.
